I know the hair is horrible but I sort of felt like it was a lost cause.

If you have a method for hair that you like please let me know but I am mostly concerned about the rest of the picture.

Please let me know what you think.

it's kind of evened out to the highlight value for most of the face,
takes away the depth. stray hairs still on forehead, side of hand
is too hot, where are you going with the image, how close to your
ideal is it?

So you think the face is too light?

Would you recommend I adjust the opacity of the D&B layers or just add in more black through D&B over the face?

I started to work on the hair and then sort of gave up.  It is a huge mess that I was worried I wouldn't be able to fix.  Do you think the hair is doable?

I definitely noticed the hot hands and tried to fix that at first through multi-raw processing.  I can go back and work on that.

I honestly don't like the image itself all that much to begin with but I still thought i would give it a shot.

This is only my second time ever doing D&B so I wouldn't say I even have enough experience to identify an ideal.  Generally, I wanted the skin to retain as much detail as possible while still appearing relatively flawless.

Thanks for the comment.

not too light per se, I think it's close, but many shadows and transition zones
are almost gone. fine when whole image is high key.

I didn't mean all hair, just single hairs on forehead.
