It is a very beautiful piece of artwork.....there is not doubt about that. But the muted colors hurt the chances of it standing out.........so I will say perhaps 50/50

Curious to see what you think. Thanks

I like it. Will it get my attention?

probably yes

will it make me want to see your port?

dont know.....maybe 50/50

IMO there are some others in your port that would give you a better chance

I like. Very nice......but the lack of color in her top may mean that it may not get noticed as much. If she had on red I would say pretty much 100% yes. But the black cuts it back to about 50%

A successful avatar has 2 "jobs"......

1. Get attention. A person can see hundreds of avatars on MM in a very short time. How will your get attention

2. Once it has gotten my attention, will it make me want to see more of your port? IMO, these are the shots that will not only get my attention, but be the best ones at getting me to see more of your port:

Thank you - and I agree about the colours smile I tend to rotate new images through the avatar slot and then revert to a more "poppy" image later, but you've probably just speeded up that process!  All the best to you.

no, sorry. It is a bit dark, has no "pop", and the subject does not stand out. You have a couple others in your port that can do much better in getting attention

Sky, I must be totally honest......you are by far one of the best, if not THE best art nude models on MM. I listed many of your works and your port is very inspirational.

Now, the problem with having a port such as your is that it leaves little room for an avatar. I have the same problem with my port. So in a nutshell, your avatar would not get my attention or want me to see more of your port. Which is a shame because it is simply sublime. So if you are looking for more traffic, I would suggest getting a avatar that will draw people to your port.

congrats on being open to making super art. I am doing an art nude shoot this weekend and your work has greatly inspired me!!

2 things going against this shot as an avatar. It is of the horizontal orientation, which usually does not work as well, and you are much to small as a subject in the shot. You need to stand out.

I did look through your port and you have done some very impressive work. IMO one of your other shots can get other's attention much more readily

One rule that I almost always adhere to is no collages as an avatar.......almost always. But then there is the rare shot that breaks those rules. You are that shot. Yes!!

I like the shot very much but IMO it doesn't work very well as an avatar. The subject is smaller in the shot and the colors are not real bright. You have a couple in your port that I believe would get much better attention as an avatar

I like that shot because it is different and mysterious. However there is not enough pop for me to want to see more. You do have some fab works in your port that I think would be much for likely to draw me in

this is a very beautiful work, and I am sure the model is very happy with it. But the lack of brighter color or contrast would make me say no. You have some great shots in your port than I believe would work much better for drawing people in to see more of your work
