What was your favorite candy growing up?

Me?  Snickers (how boring -- Snickers is the most popular in the country).  Honorable mention:  Charleston Chew.

Big Hunk

Three Musketeers

I can't remember the name of it, but there was a spearmint nougat bar I used to love when I was young. Wasn't quite as tough and chewy as a Big Hunk and was very minty.

Yeah. Some stores would put them in the cooler making them harder, which would take longer to eat, thereby extending the joy.

:sigh:

Good 'n' Plenty, 3 Musketeers and Hershey's w/Almonds.  Oh and Lemon Heads.

When I went to grad school--in Chicago--I lived for awhile about 3 blocks from the Lemon Head factory!  It was like Mecca...

I totally forgot about Botan Rice Candy!

https://sushinow.com/pics/supplies/candyboxes.jpg

We lived in San Francisco for a short time, and we went to China Town a LOT.  Mother always got us each a box of rice candy.  To this day, she sends me some at Christmas for stockings, or just for fun.  big_smile

Pixie Stix and Crazy Dips. They were like Pop Rocks but with a big foot-shaped sucker in the package. I can't find any more of those in stores. Just the packages of Pop Rocks. It's booshit.
