Have you tried office hours?  Prof's seem to prefer that, plus you get real-time answers.

Sometimes it is easier to write what you need the program to do in pseudo-code. Then take the C# syntax and match it up using the rules and conventions of that language. Most of the time it is just the order of logic that doesn't make the programs work. Just keep plugging at it. You will figure it out. wink
