I have a shoot coming up that the decor is vintage and has an amazing staircase, wall hangings for a vintage style shoot. I am looking for clothing ideas, vintage style dresses..ideas and wear to find a dress, stocking,etc..at an affordable price. Also, hair and make up ideas, example images would help, too!

Thank you!

vintage can mean a lot of things...what time period are we talking?  50's 40's  victorian, give us a time period.

Caitin, have you tried posting in the casting call for a stylist? I may be cheaper than buying the outfits, or possibly get lucky and find someone that has the outfits you need that may loan them to you. Chicago is a huge place so I would think you should be able to find something through a casting unless you really just want to own the outfit(s) after the shoot.

To have a loaner outfit would be great, or even rent for the trip. I have no need to own, I did not think of a casting call...The date is for early December.

Just to help you be clear, the 1930s-50s is in no way Victorian.  Victorian means the time period during which Victoria was the Queen of England: 1837-1901.  A stylist will be able to help you clarify what kind of look you may be seeking.  People often say Victorian when they mean Goth or vintage.

I think they meant, "1930s-50s COMMA Victorian."
