I'm thinking of upgrading my account to premium, but I'm wondering if it's really worth it. I know I'll be able to post more photos than I do now, but I don't have many more at the moment, so I'm holding back for now.

Does anyone have any regrets about paying for a premium or VIP membership? Or do you feel that, in order to be considered a serious model, I should invest my $60-$100 a year and consider it promotion costs? smile

I was a VIP member, and decided not to renew.

Yes it was amazing being able to organize my photos, organize my inbox, and have several lists and favorites....but....

When I analyzed the numbers I saw just as much return and notice to my port at the free level than I did as VIP.

Stay active in the forums, send messages, casting calls etc....whether you are free, premium, or VIP the key is to network.

Hope this helps.

Like most things, you get out what you put in.  If you need extra photos or messages or castings, etc it is good investment.

Do you have much more than 15 photos?

If yes, consider whether its a big enough amount to actually be worth paying the monthly fees. the main benefits you get are more photos and more announcements. I've been debating buying premium membership just because i've got SO much more photos than i can ever fit on here and if i want to show one off i have to delete my others. The reason i haven't yet is because i'm waiting until i need the exposure. Life is busy right now and having more models show up at my profile is just more to sort through, so my daily announcements would go to waste.

Its really a matter of what you're willing to give for what you're going to get.

i recently re-upgraded to premium and i'm definitely getting more attention as a result. it's hard to show off the range of what i can do in just 15 images.
