so you want free work done, and in order for them to do it, you want them to retouch a cell phone picture, and a shitty one at that?

I would have to agree Daniel what is it you expect can be done?  It isnt even professional and seems really rude to ask them to use their skills for something like that

First off Daniel retouching is a professional job. It takes a lot of time money and good equipment to be good at it. A professional retoucher is not going to touch the photo you have. A learning one might if there's money involved. Why do you want a badly taken noisy low light cell phone picture retouched?

Secondly (in addition to above). Photograph is copyrighted work, so digital realterations without holder's permission will get everyone in the trouble.

Using GIMP despeckle and curves adjustment. Also, GIMP wavelet decompose and a little dodge and burn to remove tattoo.

+1

I shoot and retouch. He wants people to do a test to edit images  for free.. wow this post is just a joke to get a rise???  Its a kind of epidemic people coming on MM trying to get retouches for free. Whats worse if since I've been on there is a photographer that cast for "test" retouches like everyother month.you get what you pay for!!!

Cell phones pics shouldn't even be used on here. It's very unprofessional.

Somehow I walked through a time portal into April 1st 2013, this can't be a serious post.

Nicely done!

If you others don't want to help, don't.  If you want future business, it wouldn't kill you to spend fifteen minutes like Extrosy did.  If I needed a retoucher, I'd probably hire him instead of any of you others, just for his positive, helpful attitude.  You're wasting time on MM browsing the forums already, why not help out?

Fix the image, post it, and show us you're worth the money you charge.  This little exercise could prove valuable in the future for people like me who watch this thread, but never post.  We see who is helpful and who is not.  We'll give our business to those we see here.
