I just saw a picture of Harrison Ford, and it struck me that he brought to life two iconic movie roles:  Hans Solo and Indiana Jones.

I can't think of any other actor that had more than one iconic role (in multiple films).  Are there any?

Most iconic roles IMO aren't going to be part of trilogies.  With the exception of the Godfather that is.  But Deniro, Pacino, Walken, Freeman, Oldman, etc are a couple off the top of my head who've done it multiple times just not in trilogies.

Edited to list films/roles:

Deniro:
Mean Streets - Johnny
Godfather - Corleone
Taxi Driver - (crazy dude, forgot name)
Heat - Neil MacCaulley
Raging Bull - Jake Lamotta
Casino - Sam
Goodfellas - Conway
Cape Fear -

Pacino:
Dog Day Afternoon - Sonny
Heat - Vincent Hannah
Scent of a Woman - Col. Slade
Glengarry Glen Ross - Ricky Roma
Godfather - Don Corleone

Walken:
Suicide Kings: Charlie
Deer Hunter: Nick
Pulp Fiction: Koons
True Romance:

Freeman:
Se7en: Det. Sommerset
Shawshank Redemption: Red
Unforgiven - Ned
Lucky Number Slevin - The Boss
Lean on Me: Principal Clark

Oldman:
The Professional: Det. Stansfield
The Fifth Element: Zorg
Harry Potter films: Sirius Black
Dracula: Dracula/Vlad Tepes
Sid and Nancy: Sid
Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy: Smiley

Kevin Spacey:
The Usual Suspects: Keyser Soze/Verbal Kint
Se7en: The killer
LA Confidential: Det. Vincenzes
American Beauty: (forgot his name)
Glengarry Glen Ross: Williamson

Can you guys list these iconic roles instead of just the names of prolific actors.

Other then Brando I don't think anyone else is an iconic character in the godfather trilogy. At least not anywhere near Harrison Ford or Brando.

Stallone fits  well with Rambo and Rocky

nope. What is it that comes to mind when you think of Michael Corleone the character that says Icon to you?

When People think of The Godfather the first things most would bring up is Brando and "make him an off he can't refuse" and horsehead in bed.

Great movie, great performance by many including of course Pacino. Michael iconic? I don't think so.

I would say  Tony Montana (Scarface) is Iconic.

That isn't the first thing I think of when I hear "the godfather."   I think of his... coronation at the end of 1.   Right after he lied to his wife.

Ahnuld it distinctively The Terminator and Conan.  All his other characters were generic, in hindsight.

I think you missed Blade Runner but I am not sure that Harrison would care

You think of Michael Corleone as the anchor character who connects all three movies.  Brando was only in the first Godfather movie.
