I wanted to know if I have the requirements to be a top Model?

Impossible to say, because the #1 requirement is entirely INSIDE your head.

I've been in this business a long time, long enough to recognize that attractive women are a dime a dozen, but ones with the personality and drive to make it through the rejection that is sure to happen (since nobody can possibly fit in all jobs available) and the perseverance to keep at it until it works are rarer than hens teeth. I know hundreds of beautiful wannabes who never make a dime as models, and a handful of plain ones who make a modest living at it anyway simply because they are relentless.

This question gets asked a lot. I'm actually working on an article for the EDU section.

As a photographer, unless we see some quality well taken photos or have had an opportunity to work with you, there's no way to answer that question.

Because there are so many facets and genre of modeling no one can tell if you've "got what it takes" to be a model based on a few snapshots. It's all about your style and your ability to pose, perform, follow direction and a little to do with your actual physical look.

So saying, "do I have what it takes" or "Can I make it" is a very very very broad question which won't have an answer for years. Get photographed, try, learn get photographed some more and in a year or two you'll be able to answer that question yourself.

If it's what you want to do, then do it. Don't let people discourage you because they don't think you're "model material" Do it for fun, learn and grow, then see where it leads you.

To some, having the look and being able to pose comes naturally, others struggle to learn it. Both may or may not succeed.

Welcome to the Mayhem.  Your age may work against you as a fashion model, but your figure will help you with lingerie and implied.   Good luck and keep networking by browsing photographers, reading casting calls and writing your own casting call.  Good luck and have fun.

Clearly you do not have the right attitude to make it in modeling in any small way let alone a top model.

And I know that I am going to get a very mature, and intelligent response to this, but dear god woman! Nobody has been rude to you! Chill out!

You have the right physical stats, but you are starting late in the game. You are 10-12 years older than most girls just breaking into the industry.

You should probably start drinking herbal tea. That stuff helps me when I get grouchy.

To answer your question...

Could you be a top model?

Your Pros: *from what I can see*
You are physically attractive
Tall/Lean
Great bone structure

Cons:
You're new in the game/long in the tooth

You can't seem to handle honest opinions.. in modeling (I am also a model, I do it professionally) I can tell you first hand, you're going to get opinions from other models, muah's, photographers, casting agents, etc. I can guarantee that you're not Gia, and if you're not Gia, you're going to have to eventually learn how to shut your mouth and learn the ropes, before you burn all your bridges.

Tattoos... Yeh. If they were a stylish type of tats sure, but the ones you have do not really work for Top Model Quality.

Basically, if you could pull back your attitude, you could probably work hard and eventually get to the point where you book commercial work. But again, the tats, and attitude... are against you.

Anywhoo... be well angry lady.

I would start with learning how to take measurements.  I doubt you have a 34 inch waist and 25 inch hips.

A few years ago, this might have had potential.

But these days, trolling must be much more subtle and refined. This simply falls short.

This time it's real... if you experience this sort of thing regularly you may want to mention it to your physician.

I think it may be real... I am not picking on her. I am literally just saying. It can be hard to receive critiques, especially if you're new to it.

I tell my physician nothing, he takes notes when I tell him stuff.

**I am now no longer sure if it's real again**

These days, the OP will be given a pass for being a newb and others in this thread will get brigged for not being nice to a newbie.

I like to do a nice natural V strip, personally. As it's covered by the bikini, but gives some great "Art Bush" to the nude images. How do you shave yours?
