You're thinking more pin up than old Hollywood glamour... just an opinion, though. I  think the only way you can mix the two is if you're using something like a Buick Eight, a Phantom II or 30's era Maybach or Mercedes. A Studebaker President would be quite nice, too. If you use a rat rod, it will stop being "glamour".
