It always seems to me like there are too many of us photographers on here and not enough models to go around, so I was surprised to find that there are 2594 female models in Vancouver, 659 male models: by comparison there are only 2084 photographers. Globally there are 324,387 female models and 83,905 male models, compared to 229,503 photographers.  This makes me wonder what the ideal ratio of models to photographers should be.  Or is it just that most of us are competing for the same short list of photographers and models?

I would venture to guess that a higher percentage of the models than the photographers are of the "flash in the pan" variety, where they put up a profile, then after a few weeks, just let it sit idle.

I bet that eliminating anyone who hasn't logged onto the site in the last 90 days would cut a lot more models than photographers.
