Nude models, what do you call your 'parts?'

I'll admit, this is an amusing post hahaha Dec 10 12 05:19 pm Link Hahaha.....it's even more amusing when the photographer does a little 'hand-jive' when he can't find the best words to describe certain parts of the female anatomy ;-P -B-R-U-N-E-S-C-I- wrote: Dec 10 12 05:34 pm Link Are there honestly people who are offended by hearing the correct terms for body parts? What is this world? Vulva (vagina is the inside part, which you can't really see unless you're trying.) Genitals, if the above word is too confusing for you Breasts Nipples Dec 11 12 01:19 am Link Euphemisms are for kids, man. If a photographer starts using cutesy nicknames or cheesy porn terms when referring to my genitalia, it does not reflect well on him. Dec 11 12 01:53 am Link Artemis Bare wrote: PURE AWESOMENESS ... Dec 11 12 02:24 pm Link Little Megan :p Dec 11 12 02:59 pm Link Depends on who I am talking to and how well I know them. Usually "lady bits" or "girlie bits" or "pubic area." It sounds pretty and relatively non-offensive and most people are comfortable with those terms (at least from my experience). Dec 11 12 03:06 pm Link It doesn't come up in my shoots that often. I may ask a model to shift her butt or bum, push out her breasts or boobs, but pubic references aren't needed most of the time. "Move your leg a bit, you're showing more than I need right now." Alternatively, I might ask, "Can you make that pose a bit more rude? Ooo, that's pretty rude. Hold that pose!" Click! Dec 11 12 05:53 pm Link I prefer technical terms. It's too easy to sound creepy when using nicknames. Unless you know me VERY well don't go there. In my 20s I worked in a hospital and I looked much younger even then. I had lots of old ladies refer to their "front porch" when talking about sponge baths. Dec 11 12 06:52 pm Link Azteria wrote: First of all, thanks for getting me to log in... This one is fantastic, but I noticed that you forgot "Bug". As in, "How did it go at the bug doctor today honey"? Dec 11 12 06:56 pm Link I laughed about 10 minutes reading through this.... But Americans are WAYYY to careful sometimes. Europeans, we tend to call a pussy a pussy and an asshole an asshole. Just plain and simple. Less stress, less "PC" , less confusing.
