haha no lets not turn this into a contest smile generally when people do something they have a good reason for it. I saw your earlier post, which is why i wondered why this meant so much to you

Not at all. smile

Yeah, some people do things for pure amusement. I'll admit, this is an amusing post hahaha

Hahaha.....it's even more amusing when the photographer does a little 'hand-jive' when he can't find the best words to describe certain parts of the female anatomy ;-P

Are there honestly people who are offended by hearing the correct terms for body parts?

What is this world?

Vulva (vagina is the inside part, which you can't really see unless you're trying.)
Genitals, if the above word is too confusing for you
Breasts
Nipples

Euphemisms are for kids, man. If a photographer starts using cutesy nicknames or cheesy porn terms when referring to my genitalia, it does not reflect well on him.

I call my boobs: Tits/tiny mounds.
I call my crotch: Va-Gi-Na... making sure to make it the longest word possible.
I call the inside of my Vagina: the pink shit... for example "make sure my pink shit doesnt show"
and i call my nipples: Nips.

but... i kinda dont care about being politically correct.. i tend to be gassy on shoots and i fart a lot in the nude.. or belch.. but it makes me less bloated. soo yay!

At least the gaz keeps them "touchy" kinda shooters at arms length  .  .  .  wink  I'm old as dirt, so I guess me callin' "tits", tits, and "asses", butts, and "vaginas",  crotches is okay  .  .  .  if I'm shooting with llamas I've shot with a few times, or ones that are comfortable in their skin, it never seems to be an issue  .  .  .  no codes, jest angle yer tit THAT way, aim your ass towards the lens a little, so your butt crack shows jest a bit, close your legs some, so I can't see your tonsils  .  .  .  things seem to get pretty relaxed fairly quickly  .  .  .

I refer to my various parts differently depending on the company I happen to be in at the time (for example, things get pretty un-repeatable if I'm hanging out with my friends). So, I don't have standard labels for my bits. Except perhaps for the generic term "bits".

I actually don't mind what labels photographers use in order to direct, so long as it's a term I'm familiar with, so I don't get confused and start wondering what a "monchichi" is and how I'm suppose to move it to the left. Say boobs, breasts, nipples, ladyparts, ladygarden, punani, snatch, butt, ass, whatever - just try not to stammer too much when you do.

The only rule I have is that if you're going to tell me I have great tits, I'd prefer you have a British accent. It just sounds better that way.

You have great tits luv  .  .  .  typed using a British accent  .  .  .  wink

Depends on who I am talking to and how well I know them. Usually "lady bits" or "girlie bits" or "pubic area." It sounds pretty and relatively non-offensive and most people are comfortable with those terms (at least from my experience).

It doesn't come up in my shoots that often.  I may ask a model to shift her butt or bum, push out her breasts or boobs, but pubic references aren't needed most of the time.

"Move your leg a bit, you're showing more than I need right now."

Alternatively, I might ask, "Can you make that pose a bit more rude?  Ooo, that's pretty rude.  Hold that pose!"  Click!

I prefer technical terms. It's too easy to sound creepy when using nicknames. Unless you know me VERY well don't go there.

In my 20s I worked in a hospital and I looked much younger even then. I had lots of old ladies refer to their "front porch" when talking about sponge baths.

I laughed about 10 minutes reading through this....

But Americans are WAYYY to careful sometimes.  Europeans, we tend to call a pussy a pussy and an asshole an asshole.  Just plain and simple.  Less stress, less "PC" , less confusing.
