Loving this genre, show me what you've got for inspiration! Dec 12 12 03:43 am Link Sorry, I've got nothing for you, but agree with you. Wicket look and feel. I actually haven't seen any good images lately - maybe I have but didn't notice them... which probably wouldn't make them good shots. Dec 12 12 04:10 am Link Oh, look at this. http://500px.com/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=steampunk There should be lots... for inspiration. http://pcdn.500px.net/6196744/14ed3db80 … a113/4.jpg http://pcdn.500px.net/2602832/0a03ecc5e … d1df/4.jpg Dec 12 12 04:15 am Link Check my concept piece if u have time Dec 12 12 04:41 am Link I love this one by Drew Smith Photography Dec 12 12 09:36 am Link I wasn't quite sure what 'steampunk' was... when this llama had planned to do a bodypainting shoot with me, and suggested a steampunk theme. Here is what I came up with: (18 ) http://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/30865062 Dec 12 12 09:48 am Link I haven't done a lot of shooting in the steampunk genre, but I AM involved in creating things and doing events. We're working on a steampunk outfit for my giant rocking horse, with leather, hammered copper, and copper chainmail. The creativity level within the movement is off the charts. Dec 13 12 01:05 am Link adore steampunk - to properly style it including quality accessories seems difficult - I have a hard time sourcing it - Dec 13 12 01:07 am Link i don't really care for the genre and kinda think it's overdone but i do admit it has some pretty neat styling concepts. my favorite subgenre i guess would be the native american/steampunk type stuff, very original and hard to pull off. Dec 13 12 01:41 pm Link My dad has rounded up more props so I want to try again! (He's got some goggles for me now!!) Dec 31 12 07:17 am Link Aside from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and then arguably Suckerpunch and Captain America, the first Avenger, why aren't there more mainstream steampunk style movies made? Seems like some great original screenplays could be drafted and it would be a wardrobe stylist DREAM job. I suppose The Time Machine (remake) could qualify. The first act, anyway.
