Why should he do so if he trusts in his lady to know the state of beer supply?

A question is a question is a question.

Because it is very presumptuous to think that the lady cares for or even has time to keep track of his beer supply. big_smile It's like her asking him if her book is on a nightstand. Why would he keep track of her book?

You weren't pretty until you got all the angles aligned.
NOW you're pretty.

Good job. Hold it or we'll lose it.

One that my model friend Madame Bink told me about which annoys her her a lot:-

Photographer says: "Arm up, up, back, back, a bit more...."

Photographer means: "Show me your boob, please!!"

Oh man, I get the same thing all the time trying to get pink shots. Can you arch your back a bit more? Can you scoot forward? Turn your knees out...

Yeah, that drives me nuts...that's one of the times where it would be nice for people to say what they actually think.  If you want to see my boobs, just TELL ME, let's not dance around it for five minutes.

Photographer: "Move your right hand a little bit".

What Model thought: "I wonder which of my hands is my right hand?".

What Model did: Moved her left hand.

True story!

"Tell me how you are feeling honestly" coming out of the mouth of a woman means nothing less then "Tell me how you are feeling honestly".

It means: "Tell me exactly what I want to hear and do not dare to tell me something I do not want to hear!!!"

Smart man.

Lol the personal experience one.

No.
Joke.

I will pee myself in excitement the day all photographers ever stop trying to direct my emotions on a shoot.

"Try and look sad" instead of "I want you to think of the saddest thing that's ever happened to you, really feel it, get into that moment. Oh I can tell you're miserable right now."

Oh yeah, buddy, we really went somewhere together.

Perhaps because with too many models when you ask for sad, all you get is duck face?

The photographer is trying to give guidance to an emotion. Most of us don't care shite how you get the look, as long as you have the look.

If a chocolate layer cake gives you orgasms, then that is how you are going to get that sexy look.

"Look sad".

And what kind of sad are you going to give?
I missed my fav. tv show.
I missed my manicure.
My whole family was just killed in a car accident.

Many models know how to look pretty.
Few models know how to emote.
I know, I know, hire the ones who can do both.

Ditto! Tell me what you want, do not tell me what to think. Mostly because what you want me to think most likely produces a completely different emotion than what you want. big_smile

Ok, I can accept that.

Perhaps photographers should take the John Cage approach?

Wrong.
I had a girlfriend who could not only tell you what is in her fridge, but by the end of a weekend stay over at my place, could tell you what is in my fridge. And she could tell me where in the fridge.

BTW, same girlfriend used to ask me where her keys were in her place, when we were there.
