Does it seem to anyone that women change the perfumes they use quite a bit with age? A child might have perfume that smells like fruit, a teenager might have perfume that smells like candy, someone in their 20's might have something that smells sexy and sultry, someone in their 30's might lean towards something sweet but not overly strong smelling as when 20's, and women 40 and up may use something extremely musky that makes people cough? lol. It seems like tastes change a lot with age, and women kind of "time date" themselves with perfume scents.

I agree.  Girls and boys do seem to select perfumes/colognes which mature with their age.  That said I'm not a fan of smelling you approaching not matter your age or sex.  Keep it subtle.

I guess I am the oddball here, when I use cologne, it is the same that I used back in my 20's. Guess I had a really good streak with the ladies back then and it stuck with me. lol

I swear, older women often wear perfume that would cover up the smell of a 3-day old summer corpse.

True.  I kill it when fumigated in Drakkar.

Mostly because "Smell Like Post-Menopausal Spirit" wouldn't be much of a song.

I quit wearing any kind of fragrance years ago. I prefer that my wife not wear any fragrance although what she does wear is very subtle. I much prefer the fragrance of a clean body. So often it seems that some people wear a fragrance just to cover body odor.

You have to buy the cheap stuff. Expensive stuff smells like cat urine, cheap stuff smells bear tracks. wink

+1

Well actually having the giant nose that I have I can appreciate some smells as they are the sense most strongly tied to memory. Just when women get older they have really stale smelling perfumes that do no reflect energy or youth.
