I'm just getting over it.
Been sick for like 4 days.
Only felt weak a few times for a couple seconds, and been stuffed up.
So I don't think its the flu.

Who else is sick?
I think I caught this bug from a MM member.

Everyone in my family and several friends. I'm just about over it now after a week. Never got too bad mostly just coughing and some sinus congestion. At least it's not the flu!

A cold that only lasts 4 days?

I went for a few hour bike ride on the 16th, and later that night had what I thought were allergy symptoms. Reason I thought it was just an allergy thing was because my shirt and a lot of my bike were covered in yellow pollen.

Didn't get any better by the 21st so I went to my MD that gave me some antibiotics. That was 8 days ago, and just this morning I kinda felt a little better.

Antibiotics didn't help anything, but may have saved me from getting bronchitis of pneumonia.

First cold I've had in 11 years.

I've been lucky to have only got the flu 2 times. That shit will fuck up a few weeks of your life.

CDC says new norovirus strain caused 140 outbreaks since September
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-204_162-575 … september/

"Each year, noroviruses cause an estimated 21 million illnesses and 800 deaths, the CDC says.
For those infected, there's really no medicine. They just have to ride it out for the day or two of severe symptoms, and guard against dehydration, experts said."

Only 4 days? Mine started about 2 weeks ago. Started with generally feeling run down and shitty. Then it finally broke in my chest coughing up all kinds of nasty stuff and in the last 3-4 days I went through 4 boxes of kleenex and a roll of toilet paper ( ran out of kleenex).  This has been like the cold from hell.

I've got a bit of a cough from the intubation tube I got Friday. But no cold.

Go get yourself some sudafed. It'll clear up your nose and postnasal drip pretty well.

ya, i blew my nose like a million times and did that sinus rinse thingy too.
i think that helped.

today is day 5, the stuffyness is gone, just had to blow my nose a few times, and i have a on and off headache, but my energy level is normal.
i'm like 90%.

tomorrow i expect to be good as new. smile
