...evasive, and secretive?

And, no I'm going to cite any examples, just answer the question...please?

Because they can afford to be.

And in some cases they need to be!

Both, actually - especially the last part.

It peters out a bit as we get older and more relaxed though.

What do you mean... elusive?

Perhaps they're... just not that into you?

As an aside...

Can't tell you how many times I see a fairly normal looking attractive guy when I'm out and about, downtown, on my lunch break at the grocery store, and then instead of him saying "Hi" I'll get grunted at or he'll mutter something like "amazing ass" under his breath, or something equally crude.   It used to happen 10x more often when I was younger and smiled at everyone I made eye contact with, stupidly thinking everyone was kind, respectful and sane.  So if I seem "elusive", it's just because there are so many dogs out there.  And I'm not even on the high end of "beautiful".

I have two tall, beautiful daughters. One is a model, the other should be too. When I am out with them, men act stupid around them. When they are evasive, elusive and secretive, it helps them avoid stupid men.

I'll add to this that it's something so simple you can discover it with your eyes closed....

Give it a couple more years and let us know what it feels like then. Life, she's cruel.

Don't try to understand women- women understand women, and they hate each other. ;-)

I don't know about that...there are many beautiful older women out there. Youth tends to appreciate form over substance.  More mature adults start to appreciate substance more than looks.

Of course there are certainly exceptions, this is just a general observation.

And that's my point. Thank you for making it for me.

No one said that there were not beautiful older women. I inferred that generally women tend to be less aloof as their looks deteriorate.

And everyone has an expiration date.

It also helps them avoid men that may be perfect for them.

Actually the point I was making was that appreciating substance more than looks has more to do with maturing tastes rather than declining looks.
