What are your favorite Netflix offerings? I watch very few movies/tv shows as it is (short attention span, other stuff to do) that when I do decide to watch something, it is frustrating not to be able to find anything that sounds good on Netflix...

I do love Reno 911, South Park, and (most recently- dear God AMAZING!!!!!!!!!) House of Cards.

In past days, you could not get the entertainment you could on these forums at any price.

Or read. I read a lot.

Watch a movie
Idk I'm not alone a lot:/ I have monopoly on my iPhone, that keeps most of any boredom time I might be stuck with.

I watch a lot of TV shows (old and new) that I haven't seen or barely remember.  I'll also watch movies that I haven't seen but would like to see.  There's plenty of awful stuff to watch when I want some mindless entertainment.

Just added Reno 911 to my instant queue.

Read original slash fiction
Read hilariously bad fanfiction/PWP in an various fake accents with my friend Caz until we're laughing so hard I end up triggering an asthma attack.
Skype with my friends Taylor and Ras (who were dating for two months before I found out and HOLY HELL was that an entertaining revelation)
Watch the worst looking horror/suspense film on Netflix with Taylor and make fun of it scene by scene (Piranha 3dd, Paranormal Activity)
Peruse the MM forums.
Retouch old photos
Hunt for a new handbag
Internet window shop for the hardwood flooring I want in my imaginary future custom home with my imaginary future husband and three imaginary children. Sometimes, there's an imaginary menagerie of cuddly animals included.
Hunt Goodreads for a new book to read.
Hunt the internet for a new [old] tv series to fall in love with (Stargate Universe, here's looking at you, Kid).
Also, I watch a LOT, a LOT, of tv. It's a hobby. I'm basically an expert at watching television. Like, if it was an Olympic sport, I would win. If there was a college degree, I'd have a MASTERS. And a PhD. Also, I'd have a bestselling, ghostwritten novel on the subject. I am a tv watching badass.

Rinse, repeat.

Other than if I am waiting in a waiting room somewhere, I really don't think I've ever been bored.

You only have one life. Go live it. When you're old and gray, you won't look back and reminisce about the TV shows you watched or the web sites you read.

Shut off the TV and find something to do. You'll like life much more and you'll stop being bored.

Boredom is the edge of creativity. I like boredom as I know what it leads to.

You just have to be willing to stand inside the feeling and let it be the seed.

I don't get bored.  I might get tired, but not bored.  Because I figure that there always is something constructive I could be doing.

There's mundane stuff, like...
...  Balancing the checkbook,
...  Doing the taxes,
...  Cleaning the kitchen,
...  Organizing my desk,
...  Recreating my to-do list,
...  Updating my web site,
...  etc.

There's more fun stuff, like...
...  Framing some new photos,
...  Planning a photo session,
...  Trying a new recipe,
...  Networking,
...  Planning a party,
...  Catching up on correspondence,
...  Finding a new web host management system,
...  Wasting time on MM forums,
...  etc.

And there's the passive stuff, like...
...  Reading a book,
...  Seeing a film (especially the stuff cluttering my DVR),
...  Surfing the web,
...  etc.

It is possible that people who get bored often might have a poor work ethic.

It's dangerous to be bored.

It means you are running out of options...

I very rarely get bored, but when I do I read the MM forums, read beauty blogs, watch make-up tutorials on YouTube and generally learn more about make-up, or spend time on IMDB.

I like to workout.  Even if I have already worked out for the day...if I am bored...I will go back and work out again.  It is very energizing.

Also ...
...taking the dogs for a walk.
...spend time in the forums here on MM.
...do something productive around the house like clean out a cabinet or closet
...take advantage of my hubby. wink
