I will have fashion/editorial shots in my port later this week.
How am I doing?

Lovely face, amazing physique, daring posing, great potential for glamour, lingerie, BDSM, swimsuit... At 5'5" mainstream fashion runway is not in the cards.

For your chosen genres, you have great potential! I see even greater potential in the versatility that you have barely scratched the surface of yet. With your eyes and face, you could go far in even more mainstream styles. I'm so pleased that you haven't gone the tattoo route, it is horribly limiting for any "regular" modeling.

Ahh, lovely statuesque perfection!! I think that you may be wasting your time with a "Local Agency" many of them are simply rip-off's. At 5'11" with your face and those legs, you need to be knocking on doors in NY!!

Not seeing star potential yet. Study light, natural light is well and good, but a Photographer needs to KNOW light, to create it, to master it. Keep at it!:-)

From what little you have in your port, you seem to have the basics down very well, composition, exposure... I especially like the lighting in the B&W, nice control of shadow and light! Keep at it!!:-)

What I see is all 20's - 40's eastern European, dark and gloomy looking B&W. Not my cup of tea! If you're gonna make any $$$$ in this business, you'll have to find some pretty models and shoot nudes!!:-))))))

I really don't see (it) But then again, I'm no expert on alternate modeling. I don't see anything in your port that would make me think " That's the girl I want to shoot."

Ah ha!! The closest responder so far!!:-))

Ok, so, where to begin? You have a couple of cool shots, but mostly I see snapshots. The difference between a snapshot and a photograph is that a photograph should always tell a story, convey an emotion, or provide a greater understanding about the subject, it requires thought and at least some kind of planning. A snapshot is often just, Ooh! A bird! Or, neat rock! You have a good start, try thinking of a story you want to tell and how you can tell it with a picture. You have a picture of your friend with a guitar, but it's just kind of there in his lap. Try shooting him playing it like he's trying to work out a new song and having some trouble with it. And always have fun shooting!:-))

You have a great physique for swimsuit, lingerie, glamour... I think your hair is letting you down a bit, some hot oil treatments might help, it looks a little dry, and longer is always better unless you have that pixi look.

Thank you so much!  Yes, there's quite a few of those, eh? hah I've been mostly shooting with that one guy so my port is basically comprised of just him.  Would you suggest I take down those "snapshots" and add some more, even though my port will be almost all him? Or should I just not use all 15 photo slots?   Thanks again! -Pistol
