I've wanted to be a model since I was a little girl, even though I got picked on. Now that I'm part of this new community and have a small (not incredible) portfolio starting, would you all tell me how I'm doing?

I'm totally open to any suggestions, critiques, whatever you think is good advice.

I'd also love to make some new friends from this so, please, talk!

Welcome! It looks like you're off to a good start.  You can definitely do cute pinup/boudoir type stuff.. I can see that in your future.

In picking images to post, a model must be BRUTAL! You cannot just pick images YOU like, you must pick images photographers will like. What do photographers look for in a models portfolio? Images that clearly show the model.

Thus those landscape orientation images in which you are a tiny portion of the image

are more images that the photographer should post iin his/her portfolio showing off his composition skills. The images you should post are the images that clearly show YOU, your figure, and your face. A photographer is not going to hire a landscape, he's going to hire YOU!

Just my opinion.
