Hey everyone I am planning a trip to Maui and am looking for a couple good sunset beach locations to shoot at while there. Can anyone pass some knowledge and possibly a photo of the view?

Lots of places.....All along the south and west side of Maui...Makena, Wailea, Kihei, Lahaina, Kapalua. Dozens of beaches each of which would make for good sunset pictures....You can check out my scenic folder at

If you see some you like I can tell you exactly where it was taken....

In my limited experience, when on an island and wanting a sunset pic, go west until you get wet. Back up, and and wait. Sunrise pics are trickier, in that you go east in the dark and wait.
