I need an easier name to be identified with... my full name is Jasmine Sue Elliott.... Jasmine Elliott is a bit lengthy, but so is Jasmine Sue.

I will be traveling to LA soon from Grand Rapids, Michigan and I would to be able to be known by something shorter, easier more memorable then my real name.

Help?? I'm at a loss. -__-

Jasmine Elliot is long? Jasmine Sue is long?? It's only three syllables - how much shorter can a name be?

I think Jasmine Elliot or Jasmine Sue Elliot are both nice-sounding names.

You could always pick a whole different name to use for modeling if you don't like your own, but I don't see how three syllables, or even five or six, are in any way too long.

I'm speaking of it being lengthy as in I don't see many well known models having that long of a name. One of my close friends is a very well known traveling model and her name is one word. Idk, just feel like I need to shorten it up to be easier to remember and make more of an impact. You know how a lot of well known alternative models have one word short names? Like Velocity? Or Mosh? That's what I'm talking about.

Ah. So you want a word that you can use as your name; not a typical name. I would just go through the dictionary and pick out a word you like the sound of that doesn't have an undesirable meaning. Or pick out some word that is meaningful to you.

Having the letters x or y or z in your name may make it more memorable.
It's psychology.
That's why I suggested Jazzelle.

Sue. If you want to be memorable you have to create that. It comes with a reputation not just a name. So make yourself memorable. Go work! haha

Lol, yep I know this. This forum was solely to ask for help on a name. I work very hard at modeling, its all I do, its my career. I already have made myself memorable locally, I'm traveling to LA, I'm ready to make myself memorable as I travel, and I would like a shorter, more memorable name to make an impact in a city that is FULL of memorable people. My name needs to stand out, even before they see my work.

Hi Jasmine! Honestly, I like the name Jasmine. It conjures in the mind images of exotic beauty and serenity. But hey, it's just my opinion. Take it for what it's worth. big_smile

Hate to say it, but I keep thinking, "Jasmine T".

Yep, but most Dutch people would probably not be so flip about the whole thing for that reason, esp. those that saw the war up close.

some of the models i have worked with have had for lack of a better word " stalker " " problems off and on don't connect your modeling name to your real name.  it  makes it harder to find you on the internet    think safety   keep your personal  and modeling info seperate

Personally I like Jasmine Sue.

There's a Johnny cash song, "A Boy Named Sue" about him wondering why he had what he thought was a girls name. Daddy left him. Had to fight all his life about that name. Grew up with hard fists, a rambler, looking to kill his daddy for giving him that name. Walked into a saloon later in life. Ran into his daddy. Ready to kill him. They fight. His daddy cuts off a piece of his ear. Turns out they both like to fight. They pull their guns. Daddy says son, this world is rough and I knew I wouldn't be there to help you a long. You got the right to kill me, but maybe you should be thanking me, for being the son of a b* that named you Sue.

I like your name as it is.

It is a mix of a more recently popular first name and a traditional middle name. To me, you sound young but grounded based on your given name.
