Rosa of Romulus ,
I drew the background in CS5, and drew the composite of the uniform with a custom texture I also made for PS CS5, than assembled from 20 some odd layers, tweaked the ears and hair to finish... Far more time consuming then I had imagined LOL

We wanted to do a mer person. A new background was added with lights and nebulas then water and magical light. The lighting on her face and body was changed. The liquefy tool made her take on a different appearance then scales were added to give a more mermish feel.

I've been drawn to more of an emotional digital design lately. This was created using CS6, and built around 4 stock photos, with a combination of a beautiful model. Blending was done to a high level of challenge as curves layers were my ally. Dodge and burned important lighting elements and pressed for believability in my shadowing.
