Hello everyone! My name is Julia and I like to take photographs. Yes I am the person with a partially (well mostly) shaved head in the avatar. I am also the girl by the window in another photo in my port (that was taken years ago before I had dreadlocks), I don't have people to shoot with so I use the timer on my camera or the remote to do my self portraits..lol. Sorry if they are not good.

I have a Canon 60D and a few lenses. I have two "kit" lenses and two lenses I purchased. The ones I purchased are 50mm f1.8 and 85mm f1.2, the f1.2 was quite expensive! I have been playing around with photography for a few years now. I used to own a nikon d70 with a basic kit lens. I have recently purchased a cheap flash for my canon.

What am I hoping to get out of joining this site? Some more knowledge of photography and possibly take some photos of models.
