Rather than hijack my own thread, let's ask the question here:

What is the worst movie of all time?

Let's just not name the movie -- tell us why it sucked?

Kiss, the Phantom of the Theme Park

The band Kiss, trying to hold together a story with bad acting, filmed at Six Flags after dark because it would cost too much money to shoot scenes during the daytime.

They were all bad actors (Gene Simmons has improved since then) but Paul Stanley was REALLY REALLY REALLY bad. You could tell that he was reading (poorly) off of cue cards and had trouble even just hitting a mark.

I forget the plot... was there a plot???

Anything by Uwe Boll.  Seriously, if the acting's so bad that I can tell it's bad, then you have done something truly awful.

976-EVIL.

Actually, it's so bad, it's hilarious.  It's worth watching only because it's unintentional comedy.

The Creeping Terror. Makes Plan Nine From Outer Space look like Citizen Kane. The alien ship landing in the woods on Earth is an Atlas booster launch run in reverse. Landing onto a launching pad, not woods. The alien creature is a bunch of carpet remnants stitched together over a few stagehands; in some shots you can see their sneakers. They couldn't afford real blanks for the soldiers' rifles and sidearms, so they just acted like they were firing. Pow, pow, pow. And they somehow screwed up the soundtrack on the film and instead of just having the actors overdub their lines, they just had some guy narrate the whole movie, even saying what the characters were saying. And because the carpet-remnant monster moved slower than cold molasses, all the victims had to fall down and thrash until the monster could catch up. At one point, a whole unit of soldiers falls down on themselves and flops around so the monster can eat them.

Manos, the Hands of Fate is a major all-time stinker, too. Unbearable to watch.

Of the big-budget stuff:
Gigli. I've never been able to watch more than ten to fifteen minutes of this. The writing and the acting are unwatchable. I wanted to finger-doink every character in the eyes.

Battlefield Earth. Not a bad cast, but the writing is mind-melting horrible. Continuity errors turn the movie into a drinking game. The idea of turning grunting cavemen into Harrier VTOL attack pilots just about gave me cracked ribs from the sheer hilarity. Almost got us kicked out of the theater, too. My two friends and I were one-quarter of the audience at a dollar matinee.

Supposedly, someone's working on a sequel to Manos, believe it or not.

Aww, that just doesn't seem right. Trying to make an intentionally bad movie seems like cheating. IMO, the true charm of a bad movie lies in the sincerity of its makers.

10,000 BC. Wolly mammoths helped build the pyramids.  The hero fought a sabre toothed tiger halfway through the film. I was desperate for the tiger to win. More plot holes, bad acting and terrible script. Walked out an hour into the movie.

Yes, you are right!  I gave it way too much credit! Lol  ..I mean, I saw this when I was about 13 years old and 20+ years later, this movie still sticks with me as the worst movie I've ever saw. Must've been everyones first acting gig, horrendous "special effects" and sound bites.  From the monster in the shower with the strings you can cleary see attached to a man in a monster suit! To the cheezy "Saved by the Bell" acting to that 8ft. Tall skinny man, who looked so out of place and goofy(I dont know where they got him from,smh)...I  haven't seen that movie since then but I can still remember how bad it was Lol...going to be hard to bottom that one for me!   Although, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians(1964) is pathetic and a close second on my  list!

I'm hoping I haven't seen it.

That isn't the title of a movie, just a thought based on the quality of some of the films I've seen leads me to hope that there are worst ones.

I have this movie called Antfarm Dickhole on DVD.  It's about a guy who has army ants living in his dick.  It's just terrible.  Bad puns.  No acting.  Bad cinematography.

I have crazy ideas for TV shows -- someday, one of them just might be crazy enough...

One idea is a TV sitcom about a TV show, where we meet the actors who are quite opposite of the characters they portray, plus additional characters like the writers & producers & rabid fans.  The premise is that the show within the show is a sci-fi show, but the executive producer hates the show, has a nervous breakdown, & wants it to get canceled.  So, he keeps cutting the budget, and the show has to come up with crazy ideas to keep creating episodes.  So, they have label makers used as ray guns, and sound effects that are just some guy with a microphone (like the guy from Police Academy).

The working title, "The $5.00 Spaceship".

Oh dear. Lindsey Graham went from Miss New Hampshire in 2009 to her first movie, Antfarm Dickhole, in 2011. Is that even allowed?

I don't know. Gone in 60 Seconds was pretty fucking horrible but so was Ocean's 12. How could anything be worse than either of those two movies?

Oh, I know… why don't I make a movie that rips off BOTH of those shitty movies and if that's not bad enough I can pick the worse actor in the world to star in it!! While I'm at it, maybe I'll even sucker Dwayne Johnson — a funny guy with a promising acting career — and get him to play opposite the shittiest actor on the planet to screw his career! It's like the perfect storm of atrociousness.

I think I'll call it something like Fast Five
