Ya know, we write about the bugs, the crashes, the traffic decline and whatever.   There is no doubt, this site, like any other business has had its problems. While I know that IB, the admins and the mods work hard to fix them, there is no doubt that we have frustration around here sometimes.

One thing always seems to get lost in the conversation.  I have made a lot of friends here over the last eight years.  This has been a part of my life that I wouldn't ever want to forget.  In terms of people, each and everyone here I've had contact with has had an affect and made an impression.

I made some friendships here I expect to last for life.  I've disagreed with some people here, but I can honestly say, it is very hard for me to think of anyone I dislike.  By and large this is a community of people I am proud to be associated with.

To me the friendships I have made have outweighed many of the problems.  I hope that doesn't get forgotten.  I never will.

I was glad to see this as I really like this site. Some people extrapolate from their unfortunate personal experiences to declare site-wide problems, problems that I do not see as site wide.

It really is a great site. The retouching forum intrigues me. I like Photography talk as well. And the critique forums.

The castings work quite well, not that I have used them in recent months. I started booking work and am heading now in a certain direction. This site helped me in that quest a lot. Allowing me to line up TF shoots with llamas.

What a profound statement.
I remember as a kid in high school I had a "pen pal" in Hawaii and thought it was just the neatest experience.
Who would have ever dreamed we would be able to amass so many "pen pals" the world over as we do here now on a daily basis.
