Exotica Detroit announces the fifth running of their erotic and fetish themed event that features three days and nights of non-stop erotic activities and entertainment from September 27, 2013 to September 29, 2013. International London based fetish magazine “Skin Two” sponsors the event as well as many other sponsors including “Atelier Gothique Fine Jewelry” and “Chaos Talent”.

The last Exotica left even the most hardened fetishists exhausted from all the activities planned over the weekend. This year, we plan to make it even madder! The event will take place at the Tangent Gallery/Hastings Ballroom in Detroit, Michigan from Friday, September 27, 2013 to Sunday, September 29, 2013. Guests are treated to a 3 day vendor expo including over 30 vendor booths featuring latex wear, jewelry, toys, erotic art, furniture, and just about everything naughty under the moon! Expo guests will also be treated to stage performances throughout the day by top performers. This year's agenda includes new events like a Slave Auction on Friday afternoon. A Pony Play Meet and Greet will also take place on Saturday followed by a Domme/Dom Tea Party hosted by Mystryss Lily featuring French Maids and Sissy Maids serving and placed on display. Then there's the House of Harley slave farm featuring 40 collared slaves. For those who want to try out their new toys, or just want to play, the Deviations Detroit public play area will be open all weekend long. Free kinky workshops will also take place hourly all weekend long. With fetish photographers such as Perry Gallagher, Larry Bradby, Angel Morales and their models attending the event, there'll never be a shortage of eye candy at Exotica Detroit 5.

Hosting Friday night's SLICK! Fashion Show is AVN Fetish Hall of Fame recipient and professional New York Domme Julie Simone. Included in the evening's lineup are latex designers Vengeance Designs, Latex Nemesis, Adala Latex, and unique designs by FutureState, Evolution Division, and the always exciting Noomoon. Rope rigger Mistress Illiana entertains in the side stage while hostess Julie Simone thrills guests on the main stage.

5pm - 6pm: BDSM SAFETY 101 by Mystryss Lily.
Do you know how to properly execute a safe call? Do you thoroughly check a Dom or subs references before getting involved with them? Do you know how to utilize munches to meet & interact safely with other lifestylers? Does your toy bag have a first aid kit in case an event/ party doesn’t? This is a discussion class.

SATURDAY SEPT 28:

Noon - 1pm: MASSAGE 101 by Her Leopard
Massage and Energy Work for the Pathologically Kinky. Sure most anyone can give a back rub the "feels good", but what can we do to move beyond that into the realm of effective, therapeutic, and enjoyable bodywork? A variety of techniques taken from various eastern and western modalities will be shared and explored in a hands on fashion. The basics of anatomy and physiology as they pertain to body work will also be covered as time permits.

1pm - 3pm: INTRODUCTION TO ROPE BONDAGE by Cannon.
Requires 2-3 lengths of 25-30 ft. long rope (of 1/4 - 5/16 in. [5-8 mm] diameter) per pair of students.

Are you curious about tying up your partner? Or maybe you’re to know what it feels like to be bound in ropes. Adventurous novices, this this hands-on workshop is for you. We will cover important topics necessary for getting started with rope bondage, including negotiation, safety, rope selection, and several sexy, easy-to-learn ties that anyone can do (and have done on them). Every technique taught in this class can be tied on your own body, so no partner is required (but bring one if you can). Ropes will be available for loan if you don’t have your own.

3pm - 4pm: INTRODUCTION TO SENSUAL FIRE MANIPULATION by Sunshine Fire Entertainment.
This class will focus on Contact Fire (Fleshing), using torches and fire floggers. We will discuss a variety of sensual fire transfers, using various body parts including our Tongues. Fire Safety will be central to the theme in this class. Equipment will be provided.

4pm - 5pm: PRESSURE POINT DEMO by Shihan.

With over 40 yrs of Martial training, Shihan has melded ancient Martial Pressure Point techniques into Life-style applications of discipline and reward. Starting at the head and flowing down to the feet, a broad range pressure point options will be demonstrated. The audience is Encouraged to participate during the demo through applying each technique with their own partner.

5pm - 7pm: LATEX VACUUM BED by Kink Engineering.

This hands-on workshop is all about how to use rope to help you get right to the good stuff--forget the long list of complicated knots. We’ll cover elements of safety, and how to use fast, simple ties for safe and secure bedroom bondage. Designed to be used with bodies of all types, sizes, flexibilities, and genders. Come with an open mind and a freed libido. A practice partner is required for this class. Don’t have a partner? Come early to find someone to pair up with. Ropes will be available for loan if you don’t have your own.

3pm - 4pm: INTRO TO POI & FLORENTINE FLOGGERS by Sunshine Fire Entertainment.
This class will focus on teaching introductory Poi spinning, however we will be covering many of the fundamental techniques used in Florentine Flogging, such as 2 and 3 beat weaves (figure 8), stalls, and basic body bounces. Poi will be provided, as well as a demo set of florentine floggers.

4pm - 5pm: FIRE PLAY DEMO by Shihan.
Is Public Play playing with fire ... ?

Why is it throughout the ages that every pursuit one perceives as even the slightest bit risky is compared to playing with Fire?
