I don't do this very often, but sitting in a hotel room a little bored tonight, so I thought I  would do this for a little while tonight, before going to bed and catching a flight in the morning. I might continue tomorrow, from a different hotel room if there are a lot of posts.

*****THIS IS FOR MODELS ONLY*****

I do quite a bit of travel for my work, which is mostly fashion, catalog and some magazine work. My clents are all over the US and Europe mostly. Sometimes my clients have already hired the models that they want to use for the job, but sometimes, they do ask me to supply the models for the shoot.
Most of the time I do a search on MM for local models within about 50 miles radious of the area that my client is in or the shoot will be to see if there is a model that fits the profile that my client is looking for, before contacting a local agency.
I do the following steps:
1. Do the search.
2. Look at your avatar
3. Read your profile
4. Look at your photos
5. Contact you to see if you are interested.
Now assuming that you do meet the client specifications on height, age, ethnicity, hair, etc. Would you reach step 5. Would I contact you? I could stop at any step based on your whole portfolio.
I will tell you at what step I would stop, and why I stopped there.
Now although I am nice and will not be rude, I am also very honest and will be pretty straight forward. So if you can not take a little criticism and feedback please don't post and ask.
Again, this is only my opinion and my way of doing things. Does not mean that all photographers feel the same way, or that's industry standard, just my way of doing it.
If you are interested, lets do it!!!

Nice portfolio. I would contact you. Wish you had all of your stats filled in, but you do have some good head shots that show your features and some full body photos that show your body type well.

Sorry to say this, but I would stop at your avatar. Hard to tell what you really look like from your avatar. Not a headshot, not a body shot.

I stopped at your profile for basically 2 reasons. First you don't state that fashion is something you are interested in, but the most important one is your chaperone requirement.
When doing a shoot for a client there are already too many people on the set. Client, assistants, MUA, Hair, wardrobe, art director, etc. just too much going on to having to worry about a chaperone. Also, most clients do not want chaperones or significant others on the set.

I made it all the way to your photos. I would probably contact you if you had some better photos in your portfolio. I think you have the potential. Of course being 17, It would be a must to have a guardian present all times during the shoot.
