In college I knew a girl that got a boob job because her boyfriend was not satisfied with her boobs.

End of story.

A likely excuse to justify putting it on her credit card wink

That same instinct also kicks in after a woman gives birth, again, not all of them, but many will cut of their hair to shoulder-length or even bit shorter. Which is a response to men apparently finding women with long hair more attractive. By shortening their hair, they actually unconsciously signal to the other gender that they are not available anymore.

I'm now wondering if that's why no one wants to wife me ...

Who knows, ha.

She did however share with me how 'disfigured' she was before she had them done.  I just remembered feeling really bad for her.  Maybe they were, maybe they weren't.  Knowing her boyfriend, I'll suspect the latter theory.

I don't want a man that wants me for my hair or my boobs. I want them to want ME.

@Fleur du Mal-You're perfect.

You're very sweet :-)

(The hair comment on my part was kinda tongue in cheek though)

ewww....

My ex-date had one of those "Silicon triskets" put in her chin and always wanted me to "Just Touch It. Damn It!"

I couldn't ever do it.  Just grossed me out for some reason once I learned of it. (Note: Never ask a woman about her scars.)

I later asked her if she wanted to "Fondle my metal foot?"  She said "ewww.... No way Jose!  That's just gross!!"

Didn't even have to mention touching an articulated rubber penis either.  wink

Sheesh.  What a double-standard.

you don't like implants? then don't get them. and let others decide what they do with their bodies for themselves.

The OP wasn't questioning anyone's tight to do what they want with their bodies.

He was just asking a general question about the rationale that goes into the decision to get implants.

Why can't he/she ask without responses like this?

I'm sorry, but I just lost my coffee over reading that. wink

Co-worker had them installed as she was "Built like a pear."  Apparently one didn't anchor well.  She has to wear a bra else it will "Slip over my shoulder, or move around to my back" as she claims.  She can move it around and point her nipple in different directions which freaks her husband out and he'll sleep on the couch as he thinks she's some biological mutant.  She uses it as her "Not tonight dear" messaging unit.  He refuses to even touch it as it "Grosses him out."  (She offered to show me once and it sort of grossed me out too so I passed.)  Supposedly she's getting them "tuned up" in a couple more years will fix that anchoring matter once she saves up some more.

Oh.  Now she says she's "Built like Gumby."

;-) LOL

OK. Here is my question--how long is one out of action from start to finish?
If one were to do medical tourism?
How long does one have to budget in the US?
This is from start to finish--consult, exam, tests, paperwork, financing, disclosures, HIPAA compliance, surgery, recovery, followup, etc. Etc. Etc, ad nauseam.

1 week?
2 weeks?
3 weeks?
4 weeks?

😷😴😉🏥

Next is, where do we find someone who wants to trade this on trade? LOL

I recognize that this question is a major pivot from WHY women do this to HOW long to WHO wants to do it on TRADE!

I know these are out-of-the box questions, but maybe I want to do a before, after and during sequence!
