What Is On Selina Gomez's Skin in this Video?
Oct 17 13 09:24 am Link Could be a lot of things. Us girls have a lot of options when it comes to make up these days. There are highlighters that you can use on top of the foundation. There are make up setting sprays that could do that. There are primers with shimmer in them too. Oct 17 13 09:34 am Link But it's likely not some sort of oil? Oct 17 13 09:51 am Link Damn, I wish I knew too... I have seen this perfect shinning effect in several videos lately, even some shot with natural light. I been trying several things to manage reflections over skin, but each one needs to be matched with lighting (calibrated)... this should be some highlighter probably with creamy texture (not dry powder), but that is just my guess I am not a MUA. Not sure how it would work in studio with hard contrast lights... but in video it's amazing. I will be watching this thread to see if someone knows a similar product. Oct 17 13 10:05 am Link My guess is an illuminator. I sometimes use Nars Copacabana as a highlighter on the cheek. Also I would probably use a liquid foundation to get that dewey look. Oct 17 13 10:24 am Link You can't see it that well because I made a jpeg copy of a low quality low res pdf from the magazine but my avatar and some of the other images with the fascinators has a similar kind of highlight on the cheek. I used a liquid foundation ( probably MUFE) and then a little Nars Copacabana on the bridge of the model's nose, on her cheek and above the cupid's bow on her upper lip. I don't know if this is helpful to you. here is a link to the liquid http://www.narscosmetics.com/color/mult … lluminator but I used the stick http://www.narscosmetics.com/color/mult … copacabana I have also used this product http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/product/view/high-beam but it is more pinky and is not as workable in my opinion as the Nars. Oct 17 13 02:55 pm Link you can get the same effect with generic neosporin, but if you want it to REALLY last, an airbrush with some polycrylic should keep a nice shine for weeks! Oct 17 13 03:20 pm Link It could be a Mineralize skin finish or even just a dewy finish foundation. Sample https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/ … 4977_o.jpg Not the same but similar glow. On this photo of myself. I used a MAC Mineralize skin finish to highlight and the foundation I used has a satin finish as well so it was a combination of the two. For even more glow I suggest using a foundation with a dewy finish. Oct 17 13 03:57 pm Link cream or liquid highlighter. could try becca shimmering skin perfector illamasqua gleam benefit- a variety of different ones drugstore- revlon released three illuminating shades that are quite lovely to work with. Oct 17 13 11:09 pm Link It's definitely not the Becca shimmering skin perfector, since that one gives a more matted glow (i'm obsessed with that product! It's so wonderful) It looks more like a radiant primer was used- I can't imagine them putting Copacabana all over the face. The closest thing i can think of is the Dior Capture totale primer- it's radiant and hydrating: http://www.sephora.com/capture-totale-m … Id=1482652 That's my guess, but it could be a number of things Oct 18 13 06:23 pm Link ThirdEyeMakeup wrote: I did not think that Copacabana was used all over the face but it could be a liquid, creme foundation or primer using something like Copacabana as a highlighter.
