I actually thought about getting one of these too, just for kicks, but when I saw one in person I was pretty disappointed. Don't be fooled, those things put out VERY little light.

I think if you are willing to use long exposures and don't mind motion blur on the model you could even have someone change the bulb's colors a few times during the exposure. Could be kooky.

According to the specs when it is white it is like a 30W appliance bulb.
