wow, such acting! and that writing? lol

the world officially ends when this dreck is released. i'm pretty sure where you'll find every soccer mom this weekend. smile

it kind of looks like the antitheses of the dracula contract signing scene, with bad mommy porn overtones. one wonders if d.h. lawrence might be offering up a giant sigh from hades today.

As a former soccer mom I can state for a fact that you are wrong. I'd rather go see the movie Old Fashioned if I was forced to choose between that and 50 Shades of Grey.

One of my friends is playing on Broadway for 50 Shades.
Still don't want to read the book.

I bought the book just to read what all the fuss was about.

The book was so bad that I bought the audio book so I could just get thru it.

The audio book was so bad that I began playing it at 4x normal reading speed.

I still don't get it.

well than, that validates it. it must be good, because, you know, the general movie-going public has their finger on the pulse of true cinema. lol

the reviews at rt come in at around a 30% clip in favor of it. that seems about right. even the favorable ones didn't really seem all that glowing.

teenage girl, and soccer mom porn.

one can only imagine how many poor suckers are going to have to plant their asses in a theater seat this weekend (to see this shit), just to make their so's happy.

The premise of that is actually kind of funny. Gilbert Gottfried reading 40-Something Shades of Whatever? That should be hilarious.

But that book's writing is so bad… it actually gets in the way of the humor of the spoof. That's saying something.

the gal i was dating at the time that book came out had a daughter who was reading it. i happened to just pick it up and flip about half way through to a random page. i read about two paragraphs before i suddenly had an urge to run outside and stare at the sun.

if i was still a practicing catholic, i would have driven--posthaste--to my nearest church, and demanded a confession.

The very idea that frickin' Twilight fan fic became (after some necessary alterations) a massive bestselling "book" franchise complete with "movie adaptation" plus all the trimmings must be a sign that end times is nigh. Or something. hmm

Bad Films make money also....Craptanic, Crapatar, The Crap Menace,

There is so much hype about 50 Shades of Crap...that it is Critic Proof. It will a ton of money...plus two more crappy sequels coming.

Some have said it will in the US...make this weekend....between 60-80 Million....So that world wide 100 million may be pushed up..to even more...

you could have just stopped yourself right there, or embellished it with a proper adjective: shit ton, boatload, etc. box office is rarely an indicator of a film's lasting relevance.

Yep, this trite crap is proof it's not talent but popularity that gets things done.  Esp with all the really insane $2 kindle novellas floating about, there's no excuse to crown this b!tch princess of the year.

I hate it for every reason ever. Sad lackluster trash.

'Fifty Shades of Ouch' as firefighters brace for more emergencies

Firefighters in London are concerned that there could be a "spike" in emergency calls from people stuck in handcuffs and other sex toys after watching the new "Fifty Shades of Grey" film, released worldwide this week.

People are so impressionable and have no game.

If you really want to restrain someone get a straitjacket. no one is going anywhere in one of those things.
