The NEW Great Outdoors Contest!

ABOUT:
The Great Outdoors Contest is a new daily contest created to feature beautiful photography from the great outdoors!  Images submitted to this contest can be scenic landscapes, macro images of nature, waterfalls, corn fields, wildlife, etc.  Images can feature models, however not required.  At this time, this contest is assembled without daily themes and only standing guideline is that your image must have been photographed outdoors.  Please remember that this (and all) contests are here for fun and gives you the opportunity to show off some of your best outdoor photos.  This contest is hosted by Deviant Desires Photo.  If interested in being a co-host for this contest (always nice to have a back up), please contact the host privately.

SUBMISSION / VOTING TIMES:
This contest is open for submissions for 24 hours and then open for voting for 24hours.  These submitting/voting hours are unique from many others to provide more opportunity to submit and/or vote, as the creator of this contest knows how hard it can be to be on the computer multiple times a day to take part.  By doing so, each day you can submit a image for the next day's contest and vote on the current day's contest all in one visit!  Hours are 10PM EST - 10PM EST

SUBMITTING RULES:
- All images are to be posted as image comments on threads (no links to images outside of the group).
- NO UNCENSORED NUDITY - As defined by ModelMayhem's image guidelines, images involving nudity must be censored or submitted as a link. Please include "18+" with your link to warn of adult content.  Any violations will result in your image being deleted / disqualified.
- You are welcome to include credit to model/photographer/designer/make up artists/location and a title for your image if you wish, but THIS INFO MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE SAME COMMENT AS THE IMAGE ITSELF.
- By submitting to the contest, you are asked to also vote in the contest the next day, however you are not permitted to vote for your own image and/or one you were involved in the production of in any way.
- You may not resubmit an image to this contest for at least 2 weeks.
- Any winning image will be ineligible for reuse in this contest for life.
- Submitter must be directly involved in the production of the image at some level and have legal right to submit the image to the contest.
- Only 1 submission per day / per person.  (Please Note: You can however be involved in multiple submissions. (ex. Photographer 1 submits image featuring Model 1, Model 1 can submit and image of herself by Photographer 1 as long as it isn't the same image.)
- Any submitter found to be recruiting votes / cheating the system will be disqualified from competition.  We maintain a 0 tolerance policy for cheating.

VOTING RULES:
- Voting doesn't start until Host (or assigned admin) marks the contest thread as "CLOSED FOR SUBMISSIONS / OPEN FOR VOTING". (at 10PM EST each night).
- Voting is accomplished by simply clicking "quote" on the image for which you want to vote on, adding "Vote" to the post and submitting.
- Each individual person in the group is only permitted to vote on one image in the daily contests thread.
- Submitters are are asked to also vote in the contest the next day, however you are not permitted to vote for your own image and/or one you were involved in the production of in any way.
- Voting closes at 10PM EST on the evening of the contests date.  No votes beyond 10PM EST will be counted.
- Winner will be announced by the host in the last post of the thread.

JUDGING:
- The image with the most votes/likes at the closing time of 10PM EST each night is declared the winner of The Great Outdoors Contest for that day.
- In the event of a tie, all images involved in the tie will share The Great Outdoors Contest Win for that day.
- Anyone who suspects cheating and/or rule violations of any type is asked to make contact with the contest host PRIVATELY to report activity in question for investigation.  The Host/admin's conclusion (including verdict and/or consequence) in any such case is final.
- Anyone found in violation of any of the submitting / voting rules for this contest will be disqualified. 
- Anyone found voting multiple times on the same contest will have their votes disqualified.

PLEASE NOTE:

This contest is purely a member-run activity and does not carry with it any monetary value or equivalent prizes.  It is run purely by the contest host and is not moderated or monitored by the broader site moderation/administration team.  All disputes, issues, complaints associated with the contest must be directed at the contest host only.  The choice to partake in the contest is voluntary and Model Mayhem will not be held responsible for your participation or actions as a result of your participation.
