Hey folks!

I have great new images back from the awesome Sal Hanna and I can't decide which to add to my portfolio. I'm really excited about these since they show a look I don't have in my portfolio yet, so I'd really appreciate your feedback!

To be honest, these new photographs don't rise to the level of the others in your portfolio; while they are perfectly well executed, to me they come across as generic and uninspired, and don't seem to match the level of which either you or the photographer are capable based on other portfolio examples.

The wardrobe styling doesn't seem to suit you, and your emotional expression in this new set seems forced and inauthentic compared to the broad, believable range of tone you evince in your other images.

Your nude work is excellent -- I'd certainly attempt to hire you if I could -- but If you want to do fashion/lifestyle/editorial, I would simply suggest you seek a different niche to explore within that range of genres. Good luck to you.

If I have to pick one, the second to last, I'm afraid other than that, I agree with the person above me. It's not that they're bad, it's just that your other work is better. There's an emotional element to your other work that isn't coming across in these, that's the difference I think, but I also agree, that particular wardrobe isn't very flattering for you.

Hope that helps, others may see things differently. smile

For me the bold pattern of your pants is calling too much attention to your hips [hips generally look thinner when placed on an angle to the camera]
Green vegetation makes for a nice backdrop, even better when out of focus

The last two photos do not show you off, as you are such a small subject in those

I wish you well

Your port is hot, real, raw and questioning -- this set makes you like normal or everyday.  Who wants that, put it on your comp card and call it a day.

#3 catches my eye  .  .  .  wink  Certainly a departure from the rest of your port, hope it gets the attention you're hoping for  .  .  .

I have to agree with what has already been said, the wardrobe doesn't suit your usual look at all, the pants are way too bold and very distracting from your poses. You want people to look at your face, expressions, and the pose itself.  Out of all the poses the only one that I find interesting is the second one, because I like that expression best.

You have far better work in your portfolio already, and you are so exceptionally well suited to art nudes to the point that I suggest you consider specializing in that genre alone in the future, and exclude everything else.
