Hi MMers smile I used to be pretty active on the site but I've been absent for about 8 months.. during that time I've been travelling a lot, and been working on improving my port. I would very much appreciated some feedback (I used to be Marlene Potfer on here). Good or bad critique welcome, although if negative, please make it constructive smile

Merci!

For me you have an interesting image here
What bother me is the composition, I want to see the model not the sky, and most images work better when the subject is not centered
Also not a fan of looking up the models nose
Upper body seems square to camera, see how wide your shoulders look

Need more lipstick on upper lip to match thickness of lower lip
Lower models left shoulder to give appearance of longer neck

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/150527/01/556585446f3c7_m.jpg
More angle on hips, need more pose in models left arm
I prefer the feet not to be pointed at camera or parallel

This is cool have never seen this on MM before
Well done

Nice pose see how angled the hips are to camera

I think perhaps this is your most striking image

I wish you well

I took a look through and for what it's worth here are my thoughts..

I like these for a variety of reasons..

and this one, I agree with some of the observations above, but I still like it and there's something about it that I find striking.

And this one I think is gorgeous

I like this one despite you being mixed in as part of the landscape, which I think speaks more of the photographer than you as a model

And I like this one though it has a similar feel, where I highlights photographer's work more than yours as a model

I mean, yes, you're the model in the shot, and the pics look great, but in each shot I'm not looking at them and thinking of you as the model, but more the overall composition and atmosphere and lighting of the shot. It's almost like you're secondary in them. If that makes sense. But they are, in my opinion, great shots.

This one, I agree with the already mentioned thought that the pose should be a little different with the stance and position of the legs.

I like this shot except for the crop, where it chops off your feet. Sorry, but that always bugs me.

I would ditch this shot. From the lighting effect to the position of your face, it just doesn't present you in the most flattering way, and it does weird things to the perspective on your chin.

I see a good, diverse portfolio though and there is some good work happening here. I can see photographers wanting to shoot with you if go out on tour, so I say keep up the good work.
