How to achieve this tone
Hi. Does anyone knows how to achieve this tone? Jun 09 15 06:41 am Link Adjust your red levels and your blacks. Shoot with a smaller aperture to help keep all the details sharp. Also keep a decent distance between your model and your light; too close and the light fall off will be too drastic to keep an even tone. You can try adding a gradient map set to either overlay or softlight, then play with the color presets within the gradient map options or create your own to your own liking. The bottom left looks slightly desaturated. I'd try a B&W gradient map set to overlay/softlight set to a 15-25% opacity (I'm guessing). Similarly, you can try to achieve the same effect using curves or color balance, also adjusting the opacity to taste. Jun 16 15 10:11 am Link What "tone" are you referring to exactly? I don't see anything that couldn't easily be done in camera with studio lighting. HACK : The color's going to be more on the magenta side. So desaturate your yellows and bump up your magenta a bit with selective color. Jun 16 15 03:32 pm Link |
