I recently have re-organized and updated my profile and portfolio. My goal as a model is to find some paid work as an alt model. Modeling isn't my only source of income, but I would like to see it be at least one of my sources of income. Here are areas I'm focusing on improving:

-Are there any obvious gaps in my portfolio as far as looks, shots, etc
-What are some first impressions of my portfolio? Do I lack direction or is it clear what I want/am looking for?
-Would a different photo be better suited as my profile photo?
-Should I find more of a niche or focus on staying diversified?

Constructive feedback is greatly appreciated. I have had some doubts about my modeling career before due to my height and look, but I feel like I have a better understanding of what I want out of my modeling now and I want my portfolio to reflect that.

Much love,
Foxy

I'd like to see a few mainstream beauty shots.  I honestly think that would give a little more feel to some of your alt stuff.  Mostly I'm seeing lots of boldness in what you are willing to do, great for you, but very little emotion.  The chalk shots are a good example.  There's an explosion of color in the middle of the pic, and behind that you look completely uninterested.  That's fine for images that are pseudo zomby-ish, or Euro fashion, but not for the majority of your work.
If I was shooting with you I'd give you some caffeine and sugar until you were almost bouncing, except for the rope work.  More energy in the images and I think you'll be much happier.
I think for you diversity is good.  I wouldn't limit yourself to one genre.

First, thank you, thank you, thank you for being specific in your request.  This makes it sooo much easier to answer in a useful way.

* What are some first impressions of my portfolio? Do I lack direction or is it clear what I want/am looking for?
Given your experience and what I'm seeing, I would expect something stronger.  The images aren't quite there, I think you would benefit from a strong photographer and better editing.

This is the first image I ran into in your port with serious emotion.  Most of your port you are either "blah" or disconnected.

Love the makeup, I think it's been reasonably edited, but just doesn't quite come together.  Still one of your better shots.
As a model, you need to make it real, you don't want to force the photographer to find everything.  In this case, your hand position is wrong on the string, and where is the arrow?  It doesn't make sense that you would be partially drawing with out it.   Don't just do what the photographer says, make sure you ask questions and understand the story you are providing.  Including details.   Along with that, give me an expression that makes sense.  Are you looking of towards your target?  If so, I want a bit more something.   Intensity as you search for a target,  confidence and focus as you find it and start to draw...

WRT direction, I do think your port does say alt model, but your most successful images maybe more like the one above.

* Would a different photo be better suited as my profile photo?
Yes.  This is not a strong photo, again the one above is stronger.  You should pick your strongest image of the style you plan to focus on.  But your "alt" images are not your strongest IMO.    You could PROBABLY get away with using the top image in your tumbler since that says alt and it's stronger than what you currently have.

* Should I find more of a niche or focus on staying diversified?
I would recommend more port build up before you specialize.  While I agree with the previous post in that I want to see more form YOU wrt to emotion and presence, you could benefit from stronger photographers.

For me these photos that I am selecting are the strongest images

[Wish hips were on angle to camera for more dynamics]

As I said these are my top picks, while there may some areas that could be improved, they do show your style.

This one is not as strong, it has many elements to be a quality image but the pose is not working plus your expression is lacking life.
So you might ask what would I change,
First I would move hair behind models right shoulder, and lower and roll back models right shoulder.
[Why, because it will open up your neck, this is body language for a friendly inviting personality a lower shoulder will give the appearance of a long sexy neck.]
Arch back and sit tall, will just give a professional model look.
Place models right hand on right hip with fingers pointing down, this will bend your elbow, and allow your beautiful shape to show. Place models left hand on right upper leg, this will force you to twist your body adding dynamics. Try not to sit fully on a chair, move to models right and forward, so just a small part of left side is perched on chair, this will maintain the round shape of your derrière.
Plus add one charming and irresistible smile.

Would also love to see you add a great studio color head shot.

I wish you well

I think you lack some examples of a few of your categories.

You don't have that much in cosplay, art nude, or fantasy. You have plenty of fetish but some of that is lacking in professional quality photography.

You have categorized fashion, but there really are no fashion images there.
In fitness and nude, your pole image is the only one that is of much quality.
In fantasy and body paint, the second image is the only good one.

So, I would say improve the level of photographers you are shooting with for portfolio, if nothing else.

I think the profile is ok.

For me these are your top photos:

Not just a pretty face - there's feeling there. Could have been amazing if you looked at the camera

Probably should be left out because of the (non) quality of the shot but we see your face.

There's an energy here because of the pose. When I first looked at the larger picture I thought you were wearing devil horns - it worked!

Shows your figure - lighting not the best. Lee's advice here right on the mark

Shows your great big baby blues and there's expression in your face.

Hard to see your face, but a very dynamic pose.

No one's perfect. You've got an attractive (Can I say cute?) face that can probably be very expressive, and a nice figure. Scars, blemishes, etc can be hidden or dealt with. Your portfolio is your resume. Anonymous pictures of your body do not advertise you. You look tall in that last shot I picked. Let's see the little devil in you in your face and the clown. Some good headshots and full length shots would be great. Find photographers who know how to do those well.

Good luck and have fun!
