I guess I don't get the symbolism.

None of the above...

This shoot makes no sense to me.

However, my not liking the shoot aside, there is zero impact on me by the images. Nothing jumps out and grabs me and demands my attention.

The shoot feels empty to me. If that was your intent, then good job.

Yep makes no sense.
The composites are il-conceived and the lighting is poor.

I like this one the most, I just wish you could crop in (maybe square or landscape?) and cut some of the extra negative space top and bottom!

Great to see new work from you as always smile

I don't get it either. I'm inclined to agree with your assessment and may dispatch the whole bunch of them forthwith.

Yeah, it's funny, she wouldn't normally go in that sort of glam direction but I had effectively blindfolded her with the hornet's nest.

There is some intent for it to be both nonsensical and empty, perhaps even slightly unpleasant. I think you got it.

John, The no sense comment is spot-on, elsewhere people have seen a Dada angle or minimalist theatre. The composites are multi-exposures by chance, I'm not sure about the ill-conceived. I'd be interested in hearing more from you on that. As for the lighting I'm not sure about it myself. The sun was being cooperative enough but the mask on the front of the lens may not have been the  best on the second two. Relatively good definition and mood but a bit scruffy and dark, especially towards the edges, would be my own assessment on the lighting.

Thanks

This particular model is a problem for me because she's so good that i tend to get lazy and want to just sit around and watch her work. Yeah, it's kind of wasted, there's an issue with tighter work there somewhere as we've always avoided portraits - something i'm usually careful to include in work I do with people.  It's gotten to the point it's bugging me so probably I'll try to address it if she's back in the area and we work together later this year or next.
