Advice for the newbies---- don't wait around!
One of the biggest misconceptions on MM is that once you create a profile, the offers will come rolling it. FYI, creating a profile is not enough. That's only the start. Seek out photographers in your area and NETWORK with them. Even if not to setup a shoot, just making contact and getting your name/face in front of their eyeballs could benefit you down the line.
