Seems like a scam to me.  Bad English, calling you 'photographer' and not your name, no working site, 'agency' using the term TFP, paying the photographer for a fashion shoot and not the other way around.  So many red flags.

There are lots of photographers in Toronto and area that would not have airfare and hotel expenses to cover,  or foreign taxation and work visa issues to deal with.

I see no business case for this being real.  The proposition makes no sense.

Definitely the beginning of the typical fake check scam.
(They'll send you some money via a check or stolen credit card and tell you to WIRE an overpayment to a third party).
The $$$ you wire will be untraceable and unrecoverable, the fake check/cc amount will be taken away by your bank.
