I sent a welcoming message to a new model on September 9, 2013.

I just now received a response, asking me to text her an explanation of TFCD.

Naturally, she lists herself as "Experienced" and "Paid Assignments Only".

i was gonna wait a couple years to ask, but curiosity overcame me. after such a wait, do you control the urge and reply respectfully? or not at all..
it really is an invitation to be absolutely and hilariously absurd...and i think reactions should be recorded and shared

On the bright side of things, at least she replied. A plus.

I travel a lot and send out invitations to shoot and get responses back a year or so later but I don't recall getting  one after 2+ years.

When I send out my initial contact I'll usually say something like "I'll be in your area for the next 2 - 3 weeks or what ever and I'll get a reply a year later saying "Hey, are you still in town?" It's not always easy to control my inner smart ass but I'll usually just say no, but I hope to be back some day. I did that to one model and 5 months later she replied, "OK, just let me know.

Bless her heart.

Maybe she just got a smart phone?  I guess her flip phone finally gave out.  R-

Actually, I did reply, with an explanation of TFCD and telling her that I had moved to New Orleans.

A while back, I did a "bucket list" trip around the country.  Among the pictures I shot on the trip was:

All IMHO as always.

No, this is not a record.  I once had a model reply to a message after 3 and a half years.  We ended up working together.  It went OK.

At least she didn't list herself as "Very Experienced"  wink
