Anyone use themes for their browser or OS?
I finally got Windows 10 installed on my last & primary computer. So far, so good, but I don't much like the bland default windows theme, especially in the browser (Edge or Firefox). I also have 3 puters -- a primary one where I do most of my work, a backup computer with copies of my key files, and a new convertible laptop. I like setting up different solid background colors, so that I can see immediately which computer I'm using. So, do you customize the default theme, or do you use a downloaded theme? What do you recommend? Thanks in advance. Feb 29 16 01:52 pm Link I tend to customize and while I use Linux I also use Windows 10 on several laptops. I strip it down to the basics to improve performance. At most, I'll have a background image. Mar 02 16 05:54 am Link Like I said -- I now have 3 puters, and I like having a unique solid background color on each puter. Windows 10 restricts your choice to a dozen Microsoft-chosen colors. I wish I could pick my own customized color. Mar 02 16 09:02 am Link New wrinkle to investigate: I have 3 puters on my LAN, using my e-mail address as my login. When I change the background color on one computer, the background on all three puters change to the selected color. That's annoying. Mar 02 16 11:22 am Link |
