I have an entire case, but I'm not giving them to either of you since they are so cheap to buy.  tongue

I have a case too, Sylvia bought some when she lived with me.

Stuff them with some items that will remind you of her (like time capsules).  Then place them jars on a wall where you'll be remind of those memories. wink

I drilled a nice hole in the lid and placed one of them oversized straws in it.  I use it at work for my beverages.

cute idea *cough*pathetic*cough* i still talk to her almost every day. She likes to call/text way fucking early in the morning because she has no concept of time zones. She came and stayed with me last March when she was on spring break. smile

Oversize straw in a mason jar? WTF are you drinking moonshine with boba in it?

Maybe; it's clear so they won't know the difference if they aren't in direct face to face communication with me.  wink tongue

As for the timezone, that may take time; unless brain cells are dead.

It took a few years to get my parents to understand the timezone difference.  Now they know better.  But then again, I get up at 3:30 in the morning so I can be at work by 5 am mon-fri.

I found some beside the road last year.

I love mason jars, so naturally I now own too many of them.

I have 2 Ball jars with handles. I got them as a Freshman in college. OK, I got 1 and got the other one from my ex. No one in this area owns Mason jars. This is the home of Ball State, what used to be Ball Corp, the Ball brothers, etc. We used to have a Ball jar museum.

Go to Pinterest for things you can do with the jars. I like how the make lights that hang out of them. I'm not crafty.
