A friend of mine asked if there's a market for tall, burly, bald guys in their 40s. I've been looking through some portfolios here but was wondering if anyone has any input. Thanks in advance!

i would say desire sure, especially in stock.
But market, as in, expecting to get paid, not really.
Unless he is really really charismatic to sell watches etc.

all right, so I think your friend might be looking at this from a somewhat incorrect perspective - does he LIKE modeling? Does he want to give it a try?

OR does he think he'll make some extra bucks with it?

Because - sure, maybe he could do some stock of pose nude for art schools. Or he could join an agency that covers the "ugly" (notice I'm using this sarcastically) models. This is a niche market also so chances of becoming rich are slim.

Or maybe he could do fittings for some plus size clothing brand.

I think the real question here though is whether or not he wants to give it a try for FUN and take it from there...
