Hi all!
I have been struggling with this on my own for a while, because I am too sentimental towards my profile.

I just need few minutes of your time to bring me suggestions on my profile and photos I have on my Insta. I am looking to minimize and leave the best of the best work BUT I need an eye of someone in the industry. I know some of the photos there are not WOW and I need to leave only WOW photos (with few expections where I posted for work). You can comment on this forum or dm me on insta if that's easier to send reference of photo,

Thank you!

Hi Agata,

The following are links to MM portfolio photos that I feel are not your best. There are various reasons but they either don't represent your potential well or the photographer fell short in some fundamental way.
I am not on Instagram, they have a pop up that interferes with viewing so I went away. Lots of images. If your Instagram is intended to represent you as a model you will need to be choosier about what you include. Watch for things like cut-off limbs/hands, a lack of lighiting in your eyes or just an overall casual snapshot sort of look. Consider having 2 Instagram accounts, one for your modeling and one for you, your real-life friends and family. Then you could move the more casual images over and refine your modeling port on there to set a higher standard. Hope this helps! Cheers, SD

First glimpse this looks like a fine photo, but then as you look closer you see the eyes are in shadow, next time use fill flash or a reflector for more light on your face. Tag on models top, great background blur, notice how you stand out from the background?

In many of your photos one of your armes just seems to be hanging at your side

Your eyes look dull, move away from the wall, body is just square to camera.

You have an incredible look and your photos show it.

You need to work on posing your arms and hands to get the most dynamic look possible

Believe any photographer that works with you is quite lucky

I wish you well

I would but given that you get  lot of likes on the photos, on instagram, it might be best to leave it as is. With regard to the suggestions, I noticed that a commercial shot for Zeta Swimwear was singled out. You'd would want to keep that. I shot swimwear and also beauty but again, I think really you should just sail on. Good luck and congratulations on the commercial success that you have had.

I agree with LA StarShooter's comments!

I'm not on Instagram or a member of the professional community. So I can only guess that when you intend to show a portfolio at a professional casting, it may be prudent to show only your very best images. Certainly include some tear sheets. This will reassure potential employers that you can walk-the-walk and talk-the-talk and this may tip the balance in your favour when it comes to being the person they pick to do a commercial assignment.

Thank you all for your suggestions.
I don't really understand the part about Zeta Swimwear being singled out.

I am sorry that there are few responses that I can not see or someone reported them...

Frankly it is problem that all photographers and models have as the memories of the shoot affect our judgement, did we like the people we worked wit, how difficult was the shoot  , etc.
One way is the number of views/ likes but there is a need for adjusting for the amount of skin showing/ sexiness of the photo and time posted. For example
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/190429/14/5cc77249c7c11_m.jpg
Is my least favorite on your port as it IMO doesn't show you at your best in any area

One of my favorites has fewer view, more skin and slightly newer and shows you off to advantage in all areas. Personally I would have cropped it differently
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/190812/15/5d51e84185d88_m.jpg

and this, for the same reasons
<img src='https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/190903/22/5d6f4d127e7ec.jpg' />

As a genera rule photos that are taken square to camera do not show IMO any model to best advantage and you have several like this one
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/161010/19/57fc4ea70d7e5_m.jpg
A  great smile and beautiful eyes but twist at the waist and different pose for arms and hands would have made it more flattering .

Personally I think your IG shows you off to much better advantage and with a much greater range and I like my five that are a better indicator of you work. Ironically I think IG has lower standards of excellence because the nuer of images are greater and more casual/snapshot and BTC photos are more command expected.

You have a Good Look and Photograph Well

A couple of the Beach Photos on your IG and the Standing White Lingerie ( in front of the sunlit curtain ) caught my eye and shots like those should be kept as a standard for future work

there is an inconsistency with respect to the overall quality of your photographs . A few that are quite good and the rest are sort of bland and mediocre ( and i would ditch those cheezy Christmas and Pool Table Shots immediately )

I suspect that this inconsistency has to do with the photographers that you are working with  . And rather than indirectly criticize any particular photographers work here in a public forum - I will invite you to private message me  so I can elaborate on this matter

However there are things You personally can do to make your photographs more eye catching and interesting . Firstly pay attention to the basics of makeup and hair ( your avatar photo would be far better if the hair wasn't so messy)  Secondly You need to up your Fashion Game as the clothes you are wearing are dull . ( Check out LA Model Julia Mindars IG to see how to enhance your shots with better fashion selections ) Thirdly - a lot of your locations are boring  and do not reflect that you live in such an interesting part of the world
