I have a B.F.A in photography. I love working with people and the challenge of creating. I am a total believer in capturing the perfect, untouched photograph but am also impressed by the potential of technology (I heart Photoshop). I am willing to do limited tfp depending on the concept or assignment. I am very professional. I hate flakes, rudeness, pervy GWC's and people who don't return messages. Please don't bother me if you fall into that category.
* A note to Models about GWCs. Not that I am against paying models, I know it's hard work and not everyone can do it, but me, as a photographer and image maker, I do not pay girls to get naked to 'build my portfolio'. I know that works with some GWCs and they are ok with that, but ask yourself as a model. Are they artists or creeps? Will they make me look good or cheap? Will this benefit me more than just monetarily? If it's just for the money and not the art itself then lets be frank and clear. Don't say "Oh I love your work but I charge $200/h, when do you want to book?" If my work is strong enough, then you (the model) are benefiting as well, and money doesn't have to exchange hands. Everyone sacrifices something, time, equipment & traveling etc. I have recommended models before to work with companies to produce catalog work and they have been paid for their time. This is a professional circumstance that requires professionalism and everyone is paid by the client. I am not the client.
Please leave me a message or say something nice before just adding me as a friend. Thanks!
When someone asked "What is your style?"
Well, if I had to put it in words . . (I'm more of a visual person, I think photos and imagery say a lot) . . I'd say I am seeking to create beautiful impressions, which are appealing and soulful. I am tired of seeing all the blond barbies, wearing the same two-piece, with their two fake boobs busting out in the same old cookie-cutter photographs. Nothin' against plastic though . . . Down with GWC's.
"The Doorway of Perception . . . once veiled by an illusion called Maya. Has been slowly crumbling, with every glimpse of Pure Consciousness" - Me
Through refinement of perception I seek to bring to light the inner beauty residing in all things.
