Portland, Oregon based Photographer Hovering draws upon his lifetime of experiences when he connects with his subjects. From the subtle to the extreme, the mundane to the surreal, Hovering welcomes it all with open arms.

I have been photographing my world for over 30 years now and just recently began shooting studio work.  I love to control the environment and mood for my photo shoots and am actively seeking all types of models to collaborate with.

Throughout life, Photography has been the vehicle for me to record my environment and communicate back to the world.  I have traveled to all 50 states and over 20 countries. Having lived in and traveled to such diverse areas of the globe through the years allows me to understand and connect with different people, cultures and ideas quite easily.  I am empathetic by nature, loving by design, and believe fun and hard work can coexist in the workplace.

Hovering runs Domestic Bliss Inc. / Domestic Bliss Photography with the love of his life, Laura.  Being able to live, work and play together is a blessing.  Our studio is located a few blocks from OMSI in Portland's inner east side industrial district but we also love to travel.
