Karla Roble has always had the eye for design but it wasn't until after making her very first dress when she knew this was what she's meant to do. Her first design/creation landed her first place in the Eveningwear category at The California Community College Student Annual Fashion Symposium where she represented her school and competed against 109 city colleges statewide in 2007. Her 2nd work only defended her title as the front-runner in the eveningwear category for winning 1st place again in 2008. Many of her work won her multiple scholarship awards. And in 2012, she was nominated Raw Artists’ Fashion Designer of the year.

Karla continued to be a scholar while working towards her BFA in Fashion Design and graduated with a Magna Cum Laude. She also became a tutor at the Art Institute of California Orange County campus and a member of the Alpha Beta Gamma Honor Society. She is currently working alongside designer Michael Costello at Michael Costello Couture in Los Angeles, California.

When she’s not designing, she takes on stylist responsibilities for editorial fashion photo shoots. She is remarkably very passionate about everything she does, she is always excited and takes the initiative to learn anything new and uses it to her advantage. Karla also likes to express herself through dance and choreography and enjoys reading books and watching movies during her downtime.

Karla believes in making the most of whatever surrounds her and in doing everything with passion or not at all.
