"escorts" are totally ok. just don't bring a jerk and don't be a jerk. in a perfect world you wouldn't bring extra people along but in a perfect world you wouldn't have to. i'm totally understanding of why you want to.

i'll also say i think it's creepy when photogs get all UGH about your escort being your significant other but i finally had like 3 bad shoots in a row where a couple just fought the whole time. still, bring whoever you want, i'm just saying, it's easier to shoot when your escort won't scream at you for making a facial expression that communicates one-degree-too-much-come-hither.

if you tell me you can't shoot something because your boyfriend won't "let" you i'm mostly gonna be terrified that your boyfriend will be mad at me for any picture i take and my face is very punchable and i don't like when people demonstrate that with punching my face

a note: the best stuff comes from working with "adventurers" (or masochists) - you don't need to get sexually explicit/dirty and naked and spit on yourself per se, but freezing cold, mud, physical discomfort, bright hot lights, dirty spaces, gross smells, confrontations from aggressive homeless people, etc, are the price you generally pay for the most memorable stuff.

i've shot plenty of "experienced" people, i pay for the illusive "exposure," especially social media exposure -
i'm down to pay models i dig outta my pocket for personal shoots, but if you want me to pay you please be at least as "famous" as my girlfriend. it's not very hard, but that means when you message me asking for pay, gimme social media numbers.
i'm looking for a social network of at least 25000 (combined across different sites, you can have 10000 on IG, 5000 on twitter, 10000 on tumblr - you get the idea. there's obviously overlap but it's still a decent understanding of the exposure i'll be paying for).

if you use the phrase "i'd prefer to be paid," i'm gonna stop talking to you. everyone would prefer to be paid for everything. i'd prefer to be paid to eat pizza. i’d prefer to be paid to get a haircut. i’d prefer to be paid to sleep.
