Mayhem # 1299116
What the human eye observes causally and incuriously, the eye of the camera notes with relentless fidelity.
I SHOW UP.
hi, hi, hi mm! i'm gonna go against the norm and not just discuss gas money, escorts, and how i don't shoot nudes. A passion for passion and an addiction for addiction. I have become passionately addicted to modeling. I love working myself to death and do so weekly! Confident, sexy, adventure-seeking, and my mom says i'm special too! Always on the go, if i sit still for too long i freak. I'm perverted, cynical, sarcastic, and dark, yet surprisingly professional, energetic, upbeat and positive : ). A few years ago, I dropped out of film school to study neuromuscular therapy. Somehow that led to this fascinating knowledge and appreciation of the art of the body, the stark honesty of photography, and above all the absolute necessity of creative thought.
Annnnd...over the "deep thoughts and Observations"- i'm a schizophrenic...it's exhausting but fun. My personal identity and style changes with the tide, season, moon, "of the guard" etc. I have given up hope on figuring myself out and instead given freedom to the moment. I think it's best to just go with your immediate impulse before the pesky brain gets in the way(unless that impulse is telling you to grope me mid shoot cause you swear i'm looking at you like that not the camera)! Modeling is such a perfect outlet for mood swings it's amazing! Though my likes, wants, and intrigues are always flopping...there are a few constants on my view of photography and humans in general- If you have no intent then you have no content; laughing is always a good decision, and imitation is the severest form of douchebaggery.
To me there is no feeling worse then boredom...except maybe apathy. i don't really care
Even though i'm waxing poetic, i know that even the most genius painting would be nonexistent if the guy didn't get off his ass and paint the fucking thing! I don't believe in doing things half-ass. I love working hard and challenging myself while having lots of fun and laughs! Some of my favorite moments have been busting out laughing in the middle of a shoot with a photog in that whole "Ok we tried, but yeah this is stupid...take the toothpaste off your forehead" . If we're not enjoying ourselves what's the point? Hmm, well the finished product it actually the point. lol
I guess the way a photograph fails to me is when it evokes absolutely no emotional response...if nothing else at least a little turned on? Happy, Sad, Sick, Uncomfortable?
What am I interested in shooting? I'm a sensation junky. I firmly agree that variety is the spice of life, and i'm a spicy italian so I WANT IT ALL! ....unless i already have it ;)
T-he F-acts= If i'm shooting for free then i'm shooting for fun or because I got that little tingly-followed by spark of excitement feeling while thinking about your (or our) concept! Or because you're just a cool ass dude or chick
hmm there's a lot of cliches, adages, and phrases up there; I'll stop beating a dead horse
